The Netherlands was represented at the parade and expo. Marianne Theime (not picutured), MP, Party for the Animals, was a speaker at the 2009 VPP expo. She was the main narrator for the groundbreaking documentary Meat the Truth
Veggie Meetup Groups in NYC; some examples include: NYC Vegan EatUP Meetup, New York City Vegetarian Meetup, and New York City Raw Food Meetup. Seated is Meatup-for-vegans advocate Doug Greene.
A mini-mountain of menus from local veggie restaurants was on hand at this booth.



Mercy for Animals has spearheaded numerous undercover investigations of farmed animal abuse, meanwhile producing invaluable video footage.

V-Spot distributes and distributes and distributes free vegan empanadas all day from its booth at the expo. We love you, V-Spot!
The exhibit table of VivaVegie Society, the sponsoring organization of the parade, is staffed by long-time author, speaker, and anti-dairy advocate George Eisman, RD.
Whole Earth Bakery, here with its food donation to satisfy the soul; Peter Silvestri, shakin' and bakin' chief cook and bottle washer, ur, owner, is in blue and the hat.
