THE FOLLOWING LIST GIVES ALL THE WAYS THAT A RESTAURANT CAN BE INVOLVED WITH THE VEGGIE PRIDE PARADE, MAY 16, 2010

1. Restaurants can march with a banner.

   They can of course make their own banner, or they can have the Veggie Pride committee help them out. Email pamela@vivavegie.org or call 212-242-0011 for a price quote.

2. A restaurant can offer dinner for two as a prize for our costume contest.

   There will be a ceremony handing out the prizes from the stage at approximately 2 p.m. at the post-parade rally in Union Square Park (north end). All donating restaurants will get free publicity for this in the program guide (see next) and in the Veggie Pride Parade Web site.
   
   
3. Restaurants can put an ad in the Veggie Pride Parade program guide. Click HERE for more information about the program guide. Ad space can be paid for and reserved through this Web site.
   
   
4. All veggie restaurants should keep a flyer publicizing the parade posted in their vestibules, facing out from their picture windows, or located in some other prominent place in their establishments.
   
   
5. A restaurant or food purveyor can inquire about the possibility of giving away free vegan food at the post-parade rally and expo in Union Square Park. The Veggie Pride Parade planners may be able to obtain some funding for this, so please inquire. In the past, V-Spot, Whole Earth Bakery, Turtle Island Foods, Wildwood (vegan yogurt), Zico Coconut Water, and Primal Spirit Foods, have all made great food donations to our event and enjoyed excellent public relations at the same time.
