VJL Logo 2.png

Lobbying Group

The Vegan Justice League is working hard to bring the free market to US farm policy.  VJL is raising money to hire a squad of lobbyists to convince Congress to stop giving incentives to the livestock industry with unfair subsidies.  Many people think we're taking a stand against animal agriculture by 'voting with our dollars.' Meanwhile, our government undermines our efforts by subsidizing animal ag corporations with our tax dollars.  So, despite our veganism, more animals die, and meat and cheese surpluses build up in federal storage lockers. It's unjust and it's wasteful. This is why VJL is mobilizing.  We are recruiting monthly donor members to fund lobbyists in DC to give vegans -and the animals in our food system- a voice at the political table. After all, when you're not at the table, you're on the menu - some of us quite literally. Join VJL in bringing justice to farm policy, so that when we vote against animal agriculture with our consumer dollars, those votes count.  www.VeganJusticeLeague.com. Become a monthly donor member for as little as $7.50 a month.
